Road Closures

There will be a number of road closures during the festival – please take note of them below:

Wednesday 15 April 2026 

• Buckingham Street from Wiltshire St to Berkshire St (10-5pm) 
• Nairn Street (4-8pm) Residents will be permitted access EXCEPT during the time of the fireworks: approx 7.00 – 7.10pm.

   

Saturday 18 April 2026 – Period of closure is 7.30am to 7.00pm

• Buckingham Street from Butlers Green to Bedford Street
• Berkshire Street from Ramshaw Lane to Wiltshire Street
• All of Ramshaw Lane, Romans Lane, Camp Lane, Arrow Lane, Villiers Street, Surrey Street and Nairn Street
• Bedford Street from Merioneth Street to Cardigan Street
• Wiltshire Street from Anglesea Street to Ramshaw Lane
• Merioneth Street from Hertford Street to Bedford Street
• Hertford Street from Wiltshire Street to Denbigh Street

If you are a resident on Villiers or Surrey Street, it is advisable that cars be removed from the roadside as these roads are the exit route for our vehicular parade participants, (parade begins at 2pm and is usually completed by 3pm).

If you are expecting any deliveries on this day please ensure they are carried out before 8am. 

Alternative bus stop for Saturday only – Wiltshire Street.

Sunday 19 April 2026 – Period of closure is 3.30pm to 6pm
