The 2021 festival will run from 22nd – 26th April.

Getting there by Bus

The festival is in the heart of Arrowtown, serviced by Orbus route # 2. Plan your travel with Orbus’ handy travel planner or go to route 2 and see which times suit you. You can search ahead for the day you are attending the event. Some stops will be closed due to the festival but all services will travel into Arrowtown, stopping at a temporary stop on Hertford Street. Ask your driver to let you know when to get off, if you’re unsure.

About Our Festival

Now entering its 36th year, the festival attracts large numbers of locals and visitors to our beautiful town during one of the most colourful times of year.

We hold a number of events suited to people of all ages with a focus on community. We are all about involving people in a variety of ways and helping them come together to create and enjoy a festival full of good old fashioned fun! Our iconic events include the Art Exhibition at the Lakes District Museum, the Parade and Market day, the Pie, Pint and Pinot, the Gold Panning Championships and the Fun Dog Show.
