Pumpkin & Harvest Chutney Competition

To acknowledge one of the main reasons for the very first Arrowtown Autumn Festival, we are celebrating the end of the harvest season by running a Harvest Chutney Competition and a Pumpkin Competition.

Harvest Chutney Competition

Your creations must be made from locally grown produce and delivered to the Festival Office in the Athenaeum Hall before 6pm on Thursday 16th April.

Each entry must include a small jar for our judges to sample as well as at least 1 full jar (or more if you wish) to be given to Baskets of Blessings to distribute to local families. Please include your name, phone number and the ingredients when you hand them in. Thank you!

Pumpkin Competition

Welcome to our 3rd Arrowtown Autumn Festival Pumpkin Growing Competition! Bring your pumpkins along to the Festival Office in the Athenaeum Hall before 6pm on Thursday 16th April. Pumpkins must be clearly labeled with your name and phone number, and which category you are entering.

There will be prizes for the heaviest, ugliest, prettiest and best creation pumpkins. Prizes for pumpkins and chutneys will be announced at 3.30pm on the Friday on Buckingham Green – you must be there to collect your prize!
