Dust off the combs and beard oil – a festival classic is back! The much-loved Beard Growing Competition returns to the Arrowtown Autumn Festival for 2026.

Open to those who registered at The Fork & Tap, this gloriously hairy showdown celebrates dedication, creativity and facial-hair flair. Competitors will battle it out for prizes including Longest Beard, Most Creative, People’s Choice, and Best Moustache – with some excellent prizes up for grabs thanks to sponsors The Fork & Tap and D’Or.
