Violin Taster
After a four-year hiatus due to Covid, The Michael Hill International Violin Competition is back again in Queenstown 2-5 June.
To whet our appetites for the exceptional musicians flying in from all over the world, New Zealander Rose Light (studying violin at the NZ School of Music in Wellington) performs a beautiful programme of familiar violin works. She is accompanied by Polish-born, now Queenstown local, Kinga Krupa (pursuing a DMA in piano, also at the NZ School of Music).
Think of this as a warm-up act and plan on attending the main act this Kings Birthday weekend.
