Native Planting with the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust

The Wakatipu Reforestation Trust invites you to rediscover and reconnect with the native flora that was once bountiful in the Arrowtown area.

Come along and help out with planting at Slope Hill on Saturday 22 April.  This is our riparian planting site, where we have done extensive willow removal along the cycle trail and are restoring natives into this tributary of Mill Creek that feeds into Lake Hayes.

Access to the site is Slope Hill Road, off Speargrass Flat Road.  Planting site is to the left of the cycle trail.

Bring shovels, gloves, water, good footwear, friends, family and enthusiasm!
